Mr. Malgwi will oversee MobiBank’s strategic and operational expansion across both nations, as the platform advances its mission to connect people through accessible, secure, and inclusive digital financial services.

A globally recognized investment banker and business development leader, Mr. Malgwi brings an exceptional career spanning top multinational corporations and international finance institutions.
A graduate of Economics from Nasarawa State University, Mr. Malgwi began his career with Chevron Nigeria Limited as a Finance Analyst before joining ValuePro Nigeria Limited, where he was instrumental in expanding the company’s portfolio to over USD 50 million.
He later advanced to Swiss Biostadt Group, then a GE HealthCare Channel Partner, as Senior Sales Coordinator, managing large-scale turnkey projects worth over USD 100 million across Nigeria. In 2015, he was recognized among the Top 6% Business Development Experts in Nigeria.
Mr. Malgwi’s impressive track record includes leadership roles at Nexus Financials, Standard Chartered Bank—where he became the first Black/African Wealth Specialist in the Middle East—and Arton Capital, where he rose to Vice President – Africa.
He is the Founder & CEO of Black Pearll Capital, a private equity brokerage firm based in the UK and Nigeria, as well as Chairman of RAkChem Industries LLC and Board Member of MAJ Aviation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Malgwi has facilitated financing for projects exceeding USD 2 billion across aviation, oil & gas, ports, and power sectors. His leadership and impact have earned him multiple distinctions, including:

- CEO Clubs Prestigious Award (2023)
He was also recognized by Range Developments in 2021 for record-breaking results in the Six Senses Grenada project, generating over USD 200 million in sales within one year.
