His earlier venture helped pioneer Nokia’s Backup service across multiple markets and device models. He later co-invested in iSMS technology alongside the inventor of SMS, supported by a global portfolio of more than 120 mobile patents. At MobiBank, Jussi leads platform strategy, product innovation and international growth.

Risto Honkanen

Co-Founder • Banking & International Operations

Risto brings more than 40 years of leadership experience across banking, insurance and regulated financial services. His background includes senior banking experience at Sampo Bank and service as Senior Vice President and Management Board Member at Mandatum Life Insurance. Throughout his career, Risto has led businesses serving approximately 300,000 private customers and 20,000 corporate clients. At MobiBank, he strengthens institutional governance, international operations and execution in highly regulated markets.

Heikki Kapanen

VP • Payments & International Operations

Heikki is an experienced payments and financial-services executive with a background spanning Visa, banking technology and large-scale card-payment operations. He previously served as CEO and Country Manager at Nets Ltd and has built and operated payment services for banks and merchants across Finland and the Nordic region. He brings MobiBank deep expertise in payment infrastructure, partner networks, operational resilience and the commercial scaling of regulated financial platforms.

Kimmo Kalke

Chief Digital Officer

Kimmo brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in digital services, customer experience and mobile technology. As former Head of Offering and Management Board Member at Sonera, now Telia, he combined product leadership with intellectual-property strategy and platform-level execution. At MobiBank, Kimmo leads digital experience and helps translate patented technology into compelling, commercially scalable services.

Patrick Crowley

Partner • Shareholder • GCC Strategy

Patrick is a Dubai-based banking executive with more than 40 years of international experience across private banking, wealth management and institutional finance. His career includes 25 years in senior leadership, most recently with Banque Richelieu and previously as Country Head at ABN AMRO Private Banking. At MobiBank, Patrick contributes deep financial-sector expertise, trusted client relationships and strategic access across the GCC region.

Flavio Palaci

Executive Director • Board Member

Flavio is an internationally experienced executive with a track record of building and transforming businesses across technology, data and financial services. He has served as Global CEO of Data and Analytics at a Big Four consultancy and advised the CEO of a US-based digital bank from formation through pre-launch. As an investor, shareholder and Executive Director of MobiBank, Flavio supports corporate strategy, governance and global expansion.

Richard Unruh

Richard brings more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience across Central Europe. He has built and scaled ventures in real estate, student housing, e-commerce, energy and marketing services. With a background in marketing management and economics, Richard contributes an investor-led perspective to partnerships, market development and venture execution.

Karolina Zabek

Investor Relations & Strategic Partnerships

Karolina is a Dubai-based business-development leader with more than 15 years of experience across the GCC, Middle East, EMEA and Asia. She has led international sales teams, managed enterprise and government transactions valued at up to AED 120 million, and developed commercial pipelines exceeding AED 300 million. At MobiBank, Karolina expands investor relations and builds high-level strategic partnerships across international markets.

Anaïs Le Lan

Head of Marketing & PR

Anaïs brings more than a decade of experience across technology, luxury and digital brand development. She specializes in translating sophisticated products and platforms into clear narratives, distinctive identities and commercially effective customer experiences. Combining brand strategy with hands-on expertise in digital marketing, AI-enabled workflows, web, SEO and visual storytelling, she leads MobiBank’s international brand and communications execution, and works directly on product development and AI solution architecture.

Henri Kaskimo

Partner & Legal Advisor

Henri advises MobiBank on corporate structure, legal matters, human resources and external financing. He has established businesses across four countries, built local leadership teams and developed the legal and tax frameworks required to support international operations. His experience coordinating more than 100 investors across multiple ventures provides MobiBank with practical expertise at the intersection of law, capital and execution.

Michaela Matusova
